Astronomers snap a picture of a nearby exoplanet!

I have pretty big and exciting news: another exoplanet has been directly seen in a picture taken by astronomers! We know of well over 800 planets, but fewer than a dozen have actually been seen in photos. Planets are dim and stars bright, making this a very difficult observation.
