Switching modes

I am slowly incorporating more and more google goodness (not counting the data giveaways to our government) and will probably be posting to my blog directly and echoing it on G+.  Time to experiment a bit so don't get too annoyed with me this week!  :)

A little about…

I am not (yet) a prolific writer but I do enjoy jotting down thoughts from time-to-time.  I intend to use this as a place to write notes about the various facets of my life.  Right now I am trying to decide on a Tagging Scheme as notes are useless if you cannot find them later.  One strength of tagging is the lack of a hierarchy.  One drawback to tagging is the lack of a hierarchy.  So, how I get around that is to mark a very small handful of tags as “general areas”,  Then, I include at least one on every blog entry I do.  For instance:

• *Family*
• *Technology*
• *Living*

I read.  I read a lot.  I love books on SciFi and Fantasy, Leadership, Personal Growth, Relationships, Action/Adventure.  So don’t be surprised if you see me posting about books I read.  Sometimes it may be a book review but mostly it will be notes about a particular chapter/page in the book.  It may not even make sense unless you have the book – but it will to me.
